To the Point with Jeremy Lin

You know, I find it kind of hard to believe that Artie Lange, and his radio partner haven't been reprimanded in some way. According to the Ed Show clip, they praised Jeremy's success/underdog story, and then proceeded to solicit the dumbest jokes about the guy. They said, "we can't say it" but encouraged their listeners to call in with their stupid stereotype jokes. Would they do that about an African American athlete who was breaking new ground in a white dominated sport? An Hispanic American? So why is it okay to do it about an Asian American?

I know nothing about Lange's radio show; I thought the guy was in rehab for something and was close to dying. But really, this guy is off to one hell of a radio career. This stuff is NOT okay, but the more it gets exposed and the more people realize that this stuff is offensive, the more they become culturally aware and realize that it's WRONG to say this kind of stuff.

What do you expect from a guy that was on the Howard Stern Show? Isn't he also one of the guys that does comedy central's yearly roasts?

Well, if he was a sidekick for Howard Stern, I'd expect him to at least be amusing---which he isn't. Instead, it's typical frat boy lunkhead crap.
